HAGERSTOWN SPEEDWAY OPENER IS ON THE HORIZON

HAGERSTOWN, MD – All systems are go!!

Following Saturday’s Test and Tune session at Frank Plessinger’s Hagerstown Speedway, the long awaited opening day has finally arrived and weather permitting, is set for this coming Saturday, March 26.

Seventy racers took advantage of the open session with all but three of the entries in divisions that regularly compete and include late models, late model sportsman, pure stocks and the new hobby stock division. At 24, late models were the highest count as drivers looked to get some laps on their cars before the laps count with dollars and championship points.

Saturday’s first points program is a regular three division show with the late models, Hoosier Tire Mid Atlantic late model sportsman and Ernie D’s pure stocks. Hobby stocks will join the program the following week.

Warm-ups are scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.
