Weather halts Tyler for second time, FASTRAK Topless next

Mother Nature once again showed who was running the show this past weekend as rain and cold temperatures forced officials to cancel racing for a second time so far this season.

The FASTRAK Northeast Touring Series and the Mid Ohio Valley region will now co sanction the third annual Topless 25 for the crate motor Late Models April 23.

Parkersburg’s Freddie Carpenter won the inaugural event in 2008. Wexford Pennsylvania’s Mike Pegher took the checkers in 2009. In last year’s race Max Blair made the long tow from Centerville Pennsylvania pay off as he took the checkerboard.

Double features for the Sigler Fabrication TSMA HotMods and the Herrington-Yoak Ford and Pre-Owned Auto ModLites due to the fog-out of April 9th.
