Show Me Racin Series Oklahoma Oil Bash this Saturday
This Saturday night the Race Brothers Farm and Home Supply Show Me Racin Series will visit Mid America Speedway in South Coffeyville, OK. The running of the 1st Annual Oklahoma Oil Bash will feature an increased purse throughout the field. The 30 lap race will pay $1,500 to win and $425 just to start the A Main.
The Race Brothers Farm and Home Supply Show Me Racin Series would like to thank the following partners for helping make this race possible; H&S Field Service, QEM, Marco Oil, Caney Sheet Metal, D&D Oil, Greene Operating, Duco Supply, Jim's Used Oil Field, Performance Operating, Short Oil, Pacer Energy, Cates Supply, Bartlesville Paint and Body, Quinn Dodge, 4K Spooling and REP.
"It's great to have so many businesses helping out," commented series owner Bill McMurtrie. "We want to grow this event in the years to come."
The following purse structure will be in place for the race; 1st $1,500 2nd $1,000 3rd $850 4th $800 5th $700 6th $675 7th $650 8th $550 9th $500 10th $475 11th $450 12th-22nd $425.
Justin Wells won the opening round at Tri State Speedway in Pocola, OK and will be back along with the other series regulars. Eric Tinderholt currently leads the BP Grocery Rookie of the Year standings and will be in action as well.
The gates will open at 4 PM and racing begins at 7 PM. Adult admission is $15. Seniors and children age 6-12 are just $5. Kids 5 and under are free. Prior to the race on Saturday, the Race Brothers Show Me Racin Series will be at Quinn Dodge in Bartlesville, OK for a meet and greet and live radio remote broadcast. Several cars will be on display, and drivers will be on hand to talk with fans prior to the race.
