Free Admission For Ohio And West Virginia Residents Plus NAPA Auto Parts Night Up Next At PPMSPITTSBURGH, PA - May 17, 2011- The 2011 racing action at Pittsburgh's Pennsylvania Motor Speedway is scheduled to continue this Saturday, May 21st as NAPA Auto Parts presents an exciting six division "Action Event". The program will feature the Hoosier Tire Mid Atlantic DIRTcar Super Late Models, Brougher's Machine Shop FASTRAK/Pro-Lates, Miley Truck and RV Rental DIRTcar UMP E-Mods, Sunoco Race Fuels DIRTCar Cadets, Miley BP Car Wash DIRTcar Hobby Stocks and Imperial Heights Garage DIRTcar Young Guns. Race fans in attendance this Saturday who present $25.00 of qualifying retail NAPA Auto Parts receipts dated between April 1, 2011 and May 21, 2011 will receive FREE Grandstand Admission. This week's racing program also includes FREE Grandstand Admission for all Ohio and West Virginia residents who present a valid photo id.
"The weather thus far in April and May has been terrible. We are cautiously optimistic that as summer draws near the weather here in Western PA will become warmer and drier," stated Speedway Owner, Matt Miley. "We are looking forward to welcoming the Pittsburgh area NAPA Auto Parts employees, their families and their customers back to "Dirt's Monster Half Mile" for their second of four visits in 2011."
World of Outlaws Rookie of the Year Contender Ron Davies and youngster Brandon Burgoon have been victorious in the two Super Late Model events held thus far and with the UFo sanctioned PENNational Super Late Model Championships rescheduled to June 11th; it is expected that some invaders may stop by the Imperial, PA oval in the next several weeks to test out the speedway.
Admission prices for this week's Action Event are as follows: Adult Grandstand Admission is $13.00. Seniors, Ages 60 and Over, are admitted for $12.00 with Juniors, Ages 13 to 16, priced at $9.00. Children seven through 12 are admitted for $5.00 and admission for those under age seven is FREE. Pit Admission is $25.00.
Spectator and Pit Gates open at 5:00PM with the first green flag waving at 7:00PM.
Fans can bring their own refreshments however; no glass bottles and alcoholic beverages are permitted. In addition, coolers are limited to 14 inches or smaller.
