North Georgia Speedway Scheduled to Re-Open

Chatsworth, GA (5/30/11) --- The North Georgia Speedway in Dalton/Chatsworth is scheduled to re-open under new management with a new Promoter next Saturday night June 4th. A full racing program is on-tap with Super Late Models highlighting the events card with a $2,000 to-WIN feature race. All classes are slated to run, but the Crate LM division will also see a big payout in the purse as they race a 20 lap, $800 to-WIN feature. The Limited LM's, Modified Hobby, Modified Pony and Stock Pony will all be in competition as well and their will be no increase or entry fee's for any competition. Rules and divisions will remain the same as what they were under the former promoter and the web-site (www.northGAspeedway.net) will remain the same. Racing insider and former racer Mark Wooten of Dalton is now head of operations for the 1/3mile clay banked facility that has a reputaion for being "Nasty Fast".
