High Roller Pro-Late Championship To Showcase Young Talent This SaturdayPITTSBURGH, PA - June 2, 2011- The month of June 2011 kicks off at Pittsburgh's Pennsylvania Motor Speedway this Saturday, June 4th as we present the WIX Filters 100 Nights of Racing six division "Action Event". In addition, this week's program will showcase the Brougher's Machine Shop FASTRAK/Pro-Lates in the exciting High Roller 30 lap feature event. The winner of the event will take home the $600.00 top prize. Speedway management has decided to start up to 32 cars in the feature event which will pay $100.00 to start. There is no entry fee for the Pro-Late competitors.
"The weather has finally started to cooperate and that is great for the fans and the race teams," stated Speedway Owner, Matt Miley. "We are extremely excited to have been selected to participate in the WIX Filters 100 Nights of Racing event. This event rewards our fans as well as our competitors with some very nice prize packages. Each divisional feature winner will receive a WIX Filters promotional package and there are also prizes for the fans in attendance this week. In addition, many of the Pro-Late competitors are second and third generation competitors and they are the future of our sport; we definitely want to give them the opportunity to compete for some extra cash without travelling several hours to do so. Youngsters such as Colton Flinner, Kyle and Laura Lukon, Justin Lamb and Mark Moats, Jr. will certainly provide the race fans with some excellent racing action this weekend."
In addition to the Pro-Lates, the Hoosier Tire Mid Atlantic DIRTcar Super Late Models, Miley Truck and RV Rental DIRTcar UMP E-Mods, Sunoco Race Fuels DIRTCar Cadets, Miley BP Car Wash DIRTcar Hobby Stocks and Imperial Heights Garage DIRTcar Young Guns will be in action.
Admission prices for this week's Action Event are as follows: Adult Grandstand Admission is $13.00. Seniors, Ages 60 and Over, are admitted for $12.00 with Juniors, Ages 13 to 16, priced at $9.00. Children seven through 12 are admitted for $5.00 and admission for those under age seven is FREE. Pit Admission is $30.00.
Spectator and Pit Gates open at 5:00PM with the first green flag waving at 7:00PM.
Fans can bring their own refreshments however; no glass bottles and alcoholic beverages are permitted. In addition, coolers are limited to 14 inches or smaller.
