Mike Pegher Jr. Continues Winning Ways as #1 Cochran Night at Lernerville Speedway Approaches

Cranberry Township, PA (June 9, 2011) The Geisler Racing Team, which includes National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame Member Lynn Geisler and Crate Late Model standout Mike Pegher Jr., will continue to celebrate their 30th Anniversary with sponsor #1 Cochran Automotive at Lernerville Speedway this upcoming Friday, June 10 as it is #1 Cochran Fan Appreciation Night at the 'Action Track' in Sarver, PA. This is traditionally one of the most attended nights of the season at Lernerville so get there early and enjoy a high speed, action packed night of family fun and entertainment courtesy of Rob Cochran, Jack Crowell and all the fine folks at #1 Cochran Automotive!

Geisler, who has relinquished his seat for most of the season so far in favor of Pegher Jr., has only five starts in 2011 but has three top ten's in those starts including a second place finish at Pittsburgh's PA Motor Speedway on Saturday, May 28.

Pegher Jr., has stayed busy filling in for Geisler at times and with his #1 Cochran Automotive, Triple-S Auto Outlet, Schwartzmiller Ground Maintenance and Trucking, Tri-State Hose & Supply, JNJ Motorsports Media sponsored Fastrak Late Model. Mike, who sits second in the Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC Fastrak Northeast Touring Series points, just five points back, has racked up five wins so far in his Fastrak Crate Late Model as well as his first ever Super Late Model win on Saturday, May 21 at Pittsburgh's PA Motor Speedway.

Lynn will be back in action on Friday, June 10 at Lernerville Speedway for #1 Cochran Automotives Fan Appreciation Night and again on Saturday, June 11 at Pittsburgh's PA Motor Speedway for the Unified Force (UFO) Race Championship Tour sanctioned 'PENNational' which features two 28-lap feature events each paying $2,000 to the winner. Mike will be in action this Saturday, June 11 at Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, WV for the $1,500 to-win 'Topless 25' sanctioned by Fastrak Northeast. Pegher Jr., will then head to McKean County Raceway in Smethport, PA for another Fastrak Northeast sanctioned event that will pay $1,200 to-win.
