Busy Weekend for the SLMR

The SLMR Series is heading into its busiest week of the season with 3 races in 3 nights. Things kick off on Saturday night, July 9 when the series returns to the Junction Motor Speedway where “the Marquette Missile” Kyle Berck won the last series event on June 25.  For more information, go to www.junctionmotorspeedway.com.

On Sunday night, July 10 the series heads west and makes it’s first ever appearance at the Dawson County Raceway in Lexington, Nebraska. For more information, go to www.dawsoncountyraceway.com.

The three day swing ends on Monday night, July 11 as the series heads to the Boone County Raceway in Albion, Nebraska. Mike Wiarda and Kyle Berck picked up SLMR wins at Boone County in 2010. For more information, go to www.boonecountyraceway.com.

Travis Dickes of Madison continues to lead the SLMR points with Leon Zeitner of LaVista just 4 points behind. Joe Kosiski is third 26 back of the leader with Al Humphrey of Giltner in fourth 34 points behind and Jason O’Brien of Atlantic, Iowa fifth, 54 points behind Dickes.
