Parker Stretches NDRA City Chevrolet League Championship Point Lead

FAYETTEVILLE, NC – Ron Parker continues to lead the NDRA City Chevrolet League Championship Series standings as the racing season hits the mid-point of 2011.

The Belwood, NC native got off to a hot start in April and hasn’t let up as he continues to rack up victories at both Carolina Speedway and Friendship Speedway.

Lancaster, SC’s Timbo Mangum has rode consistency all season long as he has moved into second place in the standings with Steve Banal third. Both Mangum and Banal have had solid seasons at Lancaster Speedway with both seeing victories at the historic ½ mile oval.

Kent Peckham has begun to find his stride at Friendship Speedway as the Statesville, NC resident has moved into fourth. Another Lancaster Speedway racer, Ronnie Mosely Jr, has moved into fifth.
