SRRS Super Late Models Return to Thunderhill Raceway Saturday July 23

Summertown, TN (July 19) – The Southern Regional Racing Series (SRRS) Super Late models will be in action this weekend July 23rd, 2011 at Thunderhill Raceway (Summertown, TN) for a $3000 to-win 40 lap event.

The 800 horse powered SRRS super late will bring the heat to Thunderhill Raceway for the second time this season, On April 23rd Chuck Proctor of Charlotte, Tn. took home the $3000 pay day after the dust settled on the event. The championship chase in the series is tight as current leader Josh Putnam holds a 5 point advantage over Anthony Burroughs.

Along with the super late models racing will be the Limited late models, Openwheels, Modified Streets, Street Stocks, Mini Stocks and Openwheel Mini Mods. General Admission will be $15 and Pit passes will be $30, Kids 12 and under free accompanied by an adult. Gates will open at 5 pm, Drivers meeting at 6:45 pm, Hot Laps at 7 pm and Racing starts at 7:30 pm.
