Tennessee Super Series Readies for the Final Three Races, Aug. 27th and Labor Day Weekend

Winchester, TN (08/17/2011)- The 2011 Tennessee Super Series returns to action with three big events scheduled for a two weekend swing, Saturday August 27th will be at Thunderhill Raceway (Summertown, TN) $3000 To-Win event. The following Labor Day Weekend on Saturday September 3rd at Winchester Speedway (Winchester, TN) $3000 To-Win and the finale on Sunday September 4th at Duck River Speedway (Wheel, TN) $3000 To-Win event.

On Saturday August 27th the TSS tour will make its second appearance at Thunderhill Raceway (Summertown, Tennessee) with a $3000 To-Win 40 lap event. On June 4th, 2011 the fifth event of series was held and Daniel Miller of Lynchburg, Tenn. took the victory in an exciting last lap pass for his third Tenn. SUPER SERIES victory. Also on August 27th will be support divisions seeing racing action. Gates will open at 5 pm, drivers meeting at 6:45 pm, hot laps at 7 pm and racing will start at 7:30 pm. The TSS tour will head east the following weekend for a Labor Day show down with the two final events of the 2011 Tenn. SUPER SERIES on Saturday September 3rd at Winchester Speedway (Winchester, Tennessee) for a $3000 To-Win 40 lap event, along with support divisions racing. Two previous SUPER SERIES races were held at Winchester Speedway and Daniel Miller claimed top prize at both events held at the speedway. The Tennessee SUPER SERIES will travel just up the road on Sunday September 4th, 2011 for the finale of the 2011 Tennessee SUPER SERIES races at Duck River Speedway (Wheel, TN) for a $3000 To-Win 40 Lap Event. Along with support divisions racing. Ray Cook of Brasstown, NC and Bub McCool of Vicksburg, MS took the victories at Duck River Speedway’s Previous two Tennessee SUPER SERIES events. After the first five of eight events, Daniel Miller of Lynchburg, Tenn. sits atop of the Tennessee SUPER SERIES points standing with 472 points. Miller is the only driver in the top-10 that has victories in the series in the first five events, winning three events of five. Corey Posey of Petersburg, TN sits in second place with 426. Tony Morris rides third with 420 points. The rest of the top 10 in points goes Terry English 418, Mark Fields 406, Tanner English 382, Scott Cook 368, Mark Haddon 356, David Seibers 342, David Brannon 330 rounds out your top ten in the Tennessee SUPER SERIES points after the first five events.
