TOD HERNANDEZ SOLE SURVIVOR GET ANOTHER NORTH GA SPEEDWAY VICTORY

Dalton/Chatsworth, GA (September 3) - The new colors of the BIG CHIEF: Tod Hernandez (# T6) of Chattanooga, TN like the smell of victory lane. Saturday night the team claimed yet another victory at North GA Speedway in the Limited Late Model "A" Main feature race. Sharing the top billing of the night with the Crate LM's, races went at it full bore at the place known as CLUB NASTY FAST outside Dalton/Chatsworth, GA. Hernandez starting from the inside of row-3 in the 20-lapper survived an on-slaught of cautions, taking the lead at around the halfway point. Racing with N.GA WILDMAN Spencer Singleton, the CHERRY-LOGGER Shannon Bearden and Trig Parris, the team is lock in a tight divisional points battle. "This one, was one of those slug-fests of a race..." stated Hernandez after the feature. "I think we were the only car not involved in an altercation." This was the "Big Chief Racing, Hixson Flight Museum, Sharp's Service Center, D.G.R, American Racer Tires, KC Graphics, Ohlins Shocks by Owens" sponsored MasterSbilt / Tommy Smelley powered machine second consecutive victory lane appearance by Hernandez. "Justin (Owens), my crew-chief gets it done time and time again..." The win pockets the team $550 which is their 5th overall win of the season. Before retuning next Saturday to North GA Speedway where the team will seek out its THREE-PEAT, the team will compete Friday at the Boyd's Speedway in Chattanooga.
