Miller Claims a Third Place at North Alabama Speedway, Bama Brawl Up Next

Lynchburg, TN (09/14/2011)- Daniel Miller made a trip to North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, AL) Saturday September 10th, 2011 for a weekly racing program. Driving the Miller’s Used Cars, Paul Miller Auto Service, DMR Race Bodies, Bates Septic Service, Sign Here Signs & Graphics, Kuntz Powered, GRT Chassis to a third place finish.

Miller would go out and qualify third quick amongst the 17 car field of competitors, behind pole sitter Josh Putnam and second place qualifier Ray McElhiney.

In the 25 lap feature, Miller would get the jump coming out of turn four holding his third position. Racing in the third spot the majority of the race, Miller would rim ride the turns of North Alabama Speedway. As the laps were winding down, Miller choose to try the bottom and found his groove to try and make something happen to get past the second place running of Josh Putnam. Miller and Putnam would do battle swapping position going down the backstretch of the speedway. Putnam would dive low, going into turn three taking the line from Miller. Miller rolled out of the throttle to keep from getting into Putnam. Miller maintained the third position and would go onto finish third for the night, behind race winner Josh Putnam and second place runner up Mark Fields.

Daniel Miller and the D&D Motorsports Team will be heading back to North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, AL) this Saturday Night September 17th, 2011 for its Annual BAMA BRAWL paying $4000 To-Win.
