Wendell Wallace Racks Up Seventh Feature Win of 2011 at Little Rock; Riverside Up Next

BATESVILLE, Ark. (October 6) - Batesville, Arkansas ace Wendell Wallace recorded his seventh feature win of the 2011 campaign on Saturday night, October 1 at the I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Arkansas! After winning the second heat race, Wendell rolled off from the pole position in the 35-lap Comp Cams Super Dirt Series feature event. The popular driver known as the "Batesville Bullet" grabbed the lead at the drop of the green flag in the A-Main and paced the field for the entire distance. Wendell, who is the all-time winningest driver with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series, padded that distinction by beating Jon Kirby, Stacy Taylor, Curtis Cook, and Jon Mitchell to claim the $2,000 payday.

"Things have been rolling along pretty good for us lately," quoted Wallace earlier this week. "Aside from getting caught up in that wreck at Columbus early in the Magnolia State 100, we have been knocking down some wins and some solid finishes the past couple of months. I enjoy racing with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series and we'll try our best to get another victory this Saturday at Riverside!"

The #88 team has another Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) race on their schedule for the upcoming weekend, as they will compete in the series finale this Saturday, October 8 at the Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas. The 5th Annual 'Midsouth Dirt Track Championship' will be held in two days time at Riverside and another $2,000 top prize will be on the line.

Wendell Wallace would like to thank the following sponsors for their continued support: Triple A Diesel Service, LLC, Wincrest Farms, Mark Martin KIA, Bad Boy Mowers, C. W. Culvert, Victory Circle by Moyer M1 Chassis, New Vision Graphics, Russell Baker Racing Engines, Garrett Racing, Delph Communications, Base Racing Fuel, BSB Manufacturing, C&S Cable Construction, Rockhard Powder Coating, Frankland Racing Supply, Sweet Mfg., and Wilwood Engineering.
