Mississippi $10,000 Triple Crown Challenge Continues at Whynot

Memphis, Tennessee (10/18/11) – The Mississippi Triple Crown Challenge continues this weekend with the 17th Annual Coors Light Fall Classic at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) as Billy Moyer chases the $10,000 bonus, while more than 50 other drivers still remain in the hunt for the $3,000 bonus.

Promoters with Mississippi's three crown jewel events, The Magnolia State 100, the Coors Light Fall Classic 100, and the Southern Belle Cotton Pickin' 100 joined together in 2011 to form the Mississippi Triple Crown Challenge. The program offers a $10,000 bonus to any driver, who can win all three events. If a driver can win only two of the events, then they will receive a $3,000 bonus. The only restriction is that drivers must take part in all three events to be eligible for either bonus.

Billy Moyer claimed the first event in the series, the 22nd Annual Magnolia State 100 at Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) in late September, and will continue his pursuit of the $10,000 bonus this weekend in the 17th Annual Coors Light Fall Classic at Whynot Motorsports Park. If another driver, who was at the Columbus Speedway event, can win this weekend they will still be in the running for a $3,000 bonus if they can also win the 8th Annual Cotton Pickin' 100 at Magnolia Motor Speedway on October 27th-29th.

This weekend, the second event in the series will be held as the 17th Annual Coors Light Fall Classic at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) comes to life on October 20th-22nd, 2011. Drivers will tackle "Mississippi's Action Track" in pursuit of a $15,000-to-win/$1,000-to-start purse.
