Dixie Speedway's Fall Classic Draws Top Drivers with $50,000 Purse

Woodstock, GA. The region's top drivers are rolling into Dixie Speedway this Friday and Saturday night, November 4 & 5 for the "Dixie Fall Classic" Race. The $5,000 first place prize money will draw the region's top Super Late Model drivers in the 50 lap main event.

Expected entries include, 2011 Track Champion Michael Page, along with 2011 Dixie feature winners Frank Ingram, Luther Jenkins, Tony Knowles, Ricky Williams, Wayne Echols, and Casey Roberts. Other expected entries include Skip Arp from Tennessee, North Carolina's Ray Cook - winner of the 2010 Hillbilly 100; current Southern All Star points leader Billy Ogle Jr, Ultimate Series Points leader Chip Brindle, and Fort Payne, Alabama's David Payne.

"The Dixie Fall Classic will be a real treat for race fans. We are expecting over 200 drivers to compete for the top money with this special race at the end of our regular racing season. We hope to make this an annual event," said Mickey Swims, track owner and President.

In addition to the Super Late Models, fans can also expect to see championship features in Limited Late Models, Crate Late Models, Econo Bombers, Super Bombers, and Pony Stock, and Cruisers. Drivers will be vying big trophies and top money with the total purse over $50,000.

On Friday, November 4, adult grandstand admission is $10, ages 9 - 17 years old are $6 each and children 8 years old and under are free. Trackside / tailgate section admission is $17 per adult and $11 per child. Pit Passes are $25 per adult and $11 per child.

Saturday night, November 5, adult grandstand admission is $15, ages 9 - 17 years old are $6 each and children 8 years old and under are free. Trackside / tailgate section admission is $20 per adult and $11 per child. Pit Passes are $30 per adult and $11 per child.

Pit Gates open at 3 PM. Grandstand gates open at 5 PM. Hot laps at 6 PM, racing starts at 7 PM each day.
