Corn Belt Clash Looking Forward to 2012

Officials with the Corn Belt Clash Late Model Series are hard at work preparing for the upcoming 2012 season. After successful trips to both the PRI and IMIS tradeshows in early December, CBC president Cam Granger looks towards big things in the upcoming season. “We are in the process of putting together our 2012 schedule and hope to release it at our upcoming banquet at the end of the month.”

The series prepares to enter its fourth season and looks to improve on its record setting 2011 season. “We have had discussions with several new tracks, sponsors and have been contacted by numerous drivers who are looking to run with the series this year and we are very excited about what is to come,” stated Granger. “We are enthusiastic to have so many new sponsors coming on board for the upcoming season along with many of our returning sponsors from last season including R.A.C.E., Isky Racing Cams, Hoosier Tire, Wrap’d by Dynamic Decals, Manley, OutPace Racing Products and Comp Cams.” KindlLLC.com Business Solutions is also back on board with the series in 2012 as the title sponsor of the Fast Dash along with presenting dash sponsors Pro Power Racing Engines and Grove Automotive who also returned to the series in 2012.

To officially close out the 2011 season, the Corn Belt Clash Series is proud to announce that their annual award banquet will take place Friday, January 27 at the Meskwaki Hotel and Casino in Tama, Iowa. Happy hour will take place at 6:30, dinner at 7:30 and the awards ceremony will take place at 8:30 pm when Chad Simpson will be officially be crown two-time Corn Belt Clash Series champion. Corn Belt Clash officials are also pleased to announce the addition of several new sponsors who have come onboard with the series in 2012. Tiger Rear Ends of Mount Ulla, North Carolina will be sponsoring the ‘Tiger Rear Ends Attendance Award’ in 2012. Awarded at both mid-season and end of the season, this award will go to those racers that have had perfect attendance at the series 2012 events across the Midwest. "Tiger Rear Ends is proud to support the teams that follow the Corn Belt Clash with the 'Tiger Rear Ends Attendance Award," said Ashlee Sieveke, who oversees the Marketing and Business Development for Tiger Rear Ends. "The teams that travel to different tracks with the Corn Belt Clash can truly benefit from and appreciate the quality, strength, and performance advantage of the Tiger Quick Change, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to give back to the drivers." The CBC is also proud to announce that Landrum Performance Spring has signed on with the series for the upcoming season. Based in Mentone, Indiana, Landrum Performance Springs will award one driver per event a gift certificate towards the purchase of any Landrum spring along with a complete set of four springs to one driver at the end of the season banquet. Landrum’s Jeff Fuller was quoted as saying, “Landrum Performance Spring is looking forward to being part of the Corn Belt Clash for the 2012 race season. We have a new 2.5 ID. AllStar Performance from Watervilet, Michigan is now the official sponsor of the AllStar Performance Performer of the Race Award. Given at each CBC event throughout the season, the AllStar Performance Performer of the Race Award goes to the driver who put on the best performance of the event. That driver will be awarded a $100 product gift certificate from AllStar Performance for purchase of any one of their thousands of great products. “I am very proud to announce that AllStar Performance has come onboard with the Corn Belt in 2012 and am looking forward to working with them throughout the season,” stated CBC President Cam Granger. In addition to the signing of signing of several new sponsors and extensions with existing sponsors for the upcoming season, the CBC  is also proud to announce the addition of Kyle Bentley as the official ‘voice’ of the Corn Belt Clash for 2012. The third-generation racer is looking to forward to bring his own personal style on the road with the CBC and its events across the Midwest. “I am very excited about the opportunity to work with Corn Belt Clash and be a part of the series in 2012,” proclaimed Bentley. “I am ecstatic to work with the great field of drivers and teams that follow the series and can’t wait for the season to get started and bring the excitement of the series to the announcer’s booth.”

JD Photography of Pine Island, Minnesota has also come onboard with the series in 2012 as the Official Photographer of the Corn Belt Clash Late Model Series. They will offer special CBC themed series photos along with individual driver pictures at many of the series events in the upcoming season. “I have worked with the Corn Belt Clash for the last couple of seasons and am excited to become an even bigger part of it moving forward,” stated owner Jason Durst. “I look forward to continuing my successful relationship with the series and have big things in store for the upcoming 2012 season.”
