ALL STARS RETURN TO HILLTOP SPEEDWAY 2012 SCHEDULE

MILLERSBURG, Ohio (February 9) - Another exciting racing season is on the horizon at Hilltop Speedway as the All Star Circuit of Champions will be back after a season away from the Holmes County speedplant. The regular season will start up on Saturday, March 31st with the Late Models, Tri State Modifieds, Street Stocks, Trucks, Mini Stocks and Mini Wedges all in competition on all regular nights. The weekend before that there will be a practice session for all cars on Saturday March 24th, as the time will be announced in the near future for practice, and then on Sunday, March 25th at 1 p.m.,there will be the Soccer Mom 100 enduro race for vans and an Autocross for four and six cylinder cars. $1,000 based on 25 vans/cars will be the top money for both races.

The All Star Late Models come calling on Saturday, May 26th with $5,000 waiting on the feature winner as it will be a regular show for all the other class’. Dave Hess Jr. was the winner two years ago as the Waterford, Pa. driver also has another Late Model win and also has won in a Modified at Hilltop Speedway. The Sprint division of the All Stars will make a stop on Thursday, June 28th, during the Ohio Sprint Speedweek at Hilltop Speedway. Hometown driver Rob Chaney passed David Gravel in the last corner of the race two years ago to pocket the $5,000 payday. One other class will be added to this night of racing. The Sprints will also be in action on Saturday, April 21st with a $2,000 to win show to add to the regular show.

The new Renegades of Dirt Modified Series will make it’s first appearance at Hilltop on Saturday, May 5th. The Renegades are planning a 10 – 12 race series throughout Ohio, WVa and Pa. with a normal 25 lap feature paying $1,500 to win. Many top Modified drivers have already committed to the series.

The always highly competitive Street Stocks Invitational will take place on Saturday, August 11 with $1,000 ready to be pocketed by the winner.

This year’s Week end on the Hill is set for Saturday and Sunday September 29th and 30th with the Mini Stock Nationals the highlight of the week end. For the first time in it’s three year history, the Late Models have been added to join all the class’, including the Modlites. The Modlites were a big hit last year and will also compete on April 14th, June 2nd, July 7th, and August 11th this season.

The Ohio Outlaw Motorsports schedule at Hilltop Speedway will be released in the coming weeks.
