Corn Belt Clash Adding Additional Sponsors and Events for 2012 SeasonCorn Belt Clash Series officials are proud to announce the addition of several new sponsors for the upcoming season. “My staff and I have worked very hard in the off-season to add to our great roster of partner companies with the series,” stated CBC president Cam Granger. “We are thrilled with the addition of our new sponsors and look forward to working with them in the upcoming season.”
New to the Corn Belt Clash Late Model Series will be AllStar Performance, Tiger Rear Ends, Landrum Performance Springs, CV Products and Hooker Custom Harness. Lebanon, Tennessee’s QuickCar Racing Prouducts has also recently come onboard with the series for 2012 along with Callies Performance Products. “We are excited to come onboard with the Corn Belt Clash in the upcoming season,” stated QuickCar’s Danny Knowles. “The series is very professionally run and is one of the great up-and-coming Late Model series in the country and we look forward to a great season together.”
The series is also proud to announce that Intercomp Racing Scales has also come onboard with the series as an official series sponsor as well as now being ‘the official racing scale of the Corn Belt Clash Late Model Series’.
Granger added that the series is still in conversation with several more sponsors and that it hopes to have them finalized in the upcoming weeks along with locking in the remaining dates on the series schedule. “With great companies like AllStar, Callies, Intercomp, Tiger, QuickCar and Landrum joining our current partners like Comp, Manley, JE, Hoosier, Isky and Cen-Pe-Co, we can’t wait for the season to begin,” stated Granger.
The series is also proud to say that four new events have been added to the series schedule. On Friday, May 18, the series returns to Cedar County Raceway in Tipton, Iowa. The following night, on Saturday, May 19, the series makes it first ever stop at the newly re-opened Echo Valley Speedway in West Union, Iowa. The CBC also makes its first career stop at the quarter mile bullring of Chilton Speedway in Chilton, Wisconsin on Tuesday July 3. The series makes another first time stop at the Lafayette County Speedway in Darlington, Wisconsin on July 28th. The co-sanctioned July 18 date at US 36 with the MLRA series is also back on the schedule as well.
The 2012 Corn Belt Clash Series kicks off in a month at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska in a co-sanctioned event with the veterans of the MLRA series before two dates the following weekend at Davenport and Peoria Speedways, both new tracks for the series.
