Inaugural Spring Throwdown at Magnolia Posts $10,000-To-Win for Super Late Models by Ben Shelton
Columbus, Mississippi (04/05/12) – Magnolia Motor Speedway will return to action on April 12th-14th with the inaugural Spring Throwdown, which will be headlined by two huge shows and $10,000 possible to win for Super Late Models plus added money in local divisions.
Promoters, Johnny Stokes and Dewitt Singleton, have culminated to present the inaugural Spring Throwdown at the state-of-the-art, Magnolia Motor Speedway. The Super Late Model event is highlighted by a $2,000-to-win event on Friday night, April 13th and an $8,000-to-win event on Saturday night, April 14th.
Stokes notes, "We originally just thought about having a two day, $10,000-to-win show, but we decided that in this day and time drivers would rather have a chance to make money each night, and clearly fans would rather see a complete program each night. As a result, Dewitt (Singleton) and myself came up with this event. From the feedback we've had so far it looks like a lot of drivers and fans like the idea and plan to be here."
