Jack Sullivan, DSI Motorsports, and Allen Services Remember Russell Baker

Greenbrier, Arkansas (04/18/12) – Hearts are heavy at DSI Motorsports with the passing of legendary, engine builder, Russell Baker on Tuesday afternoon.

DSI Motorsports driver, Jack Sullivan, tearfully comments, "Mine and DSI Motorsports relationship with Russell goes back a lot of years.  Not only has Russell always produced great motors for us, but even more he has always been a great friend and supporter.  We've always thought the world of him, and it really hurts to know that he is gone.  His spirit will definitely live on at the track, and he will always be on our minds.  Right now we are really praying and thinking about his family and friends during this tough time."

As racers and fans throughout the world mourn the passing of Baker, who passed away on Tuesday afternoon at the age of 66-years-old after a battle with Leukemia, so does many of the top supporters of the sport including Dicky Allen from Triple A Diesel and Allen Services.

Allen notes, "Everyone here at the Allen Services and Triple A Diesel family have very heavy hearts today with the passing of Russell.  He meant a lot to just not me but everyone here, and he will be sorely missed.  Our thoughts and condolences go out to the Baker family and everyone at Russell Baker Racing Engines."
