Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series amended tire rule for month of May

WAYCROSS, GA (April 24, 2012) - The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series has announced an amended tire rule for the month of May. For the following events: May 4th at Tri-City Speedway in Pontoon Beach, IL; May 5th at Paducah International Raceway in Paducah, KY; the "Spring Shootout" at LaSalle Speedway in La Salle, IL; the "Bad Boy 98" at Batesville Motor Speedway in Batesville, AR; and the 20th Annual "DART Show-Me 100" at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO; the following tire rule will be in effect: American Racer MD56, No Arts 56 and Hoosier 1600, LM40, WRS55.

The tire rule for the "Allstar 48" at Hartford Motor Speedway in Hartford, MI will be as follows: American Racer SD44, MD56, No Arts 56 and Hoosier 1300, LM20, 1600, LM40, WRS55.

"This tire rule helps our promoters and their local drivers by not purchasing tires they can't use week to week. This rule will also help all of the LOLMDS teams as they pack up for a month of travel and not carry so many tires up and down the road," stated Series Director, Ritchie Lewis, "Many of the regional traveling racers that compete with the LOLMDS in May already inventory one or more of these constructed tires. Overall, it's the best rule we have in place at this time that can truly help all teams save some work and costs on their annual tire bills."

We're looking forward to coming to more events this year and seeing all the great people in the sport that we've known for a long time", stated Kemp Lamm, co-owner and General Manager of Dunn-Benson Ford.
