Midwest City, Oklahoma – May 8, 2012 - Just couldn’t make Thursday night racing fit into your racing plans in the past? Well now we have another plan as Friday night racing kicks off this coming weekend as 81 Speedway in Park City, Kansas will host the first of fourteen scheduled races to kick off the 2012 point’s season.
No, don’t worry, the Saturday night racing card is still intact for this 2012 race season with a rotating schedule featuring 360 sprints, three divisions of modifieds, street stocks and thumpers.
However, there will be different divisions racing on Friday nights highlighted by the “Gladiators” of the late model division as well as the new 305 sprint car division. Also competing will be the hobby stocks, hornets and youth hornets.
Held in conjunction with this Friday nights season opener will be the first Kids Night of the season. Kids 10 and under will get in free to the grandstand and one lucky boy and one lucky girl during the evening will have a chance Friday night to each win a bicycle courtesy of the speedway. To register for a chance to win one of the two bicycles you must purchase a program and sign up under the "Junior Fan" ballet.
Want to catch two nights of racing action at the speedway? Stick around for Saturday night action featuring the 360 sprint car division, AAA modified, economy modified, street stocks and thumpers.
Saturday night is also "kids Night" with the popular Mobile Game Den at the speedway featuring all the latest and hottest video games of today.
