S.A.S TENNESSEE MEMORIAL TO RAISE FUNDS for 11-yo. TROPHY GIRL

(Cleveland, TN) 5/10/12 --- This Saturday night during the annual Southern All-Star Tennessee Memorial race at Cleveland Speedway, the track will be doing a benefit for one of their own. An amazing little girl named Haley Brooks, who's 11-yrs old and is the daughter of Lisa and Danny Brooks is diagnosed with the very rare (500 cases), disease of Diamond Black Fan Anemia. The disease doesn't allow her body to produce red blood cells. Last September, her parents got the terrible news that the disease was back and since then little Haley has had 18 blood transfusions and is currently waiting on a bone marrow transplant. Even with the hope of the transplant, Haley will have to stay in the hospital for at least 3 to 4 months, and will be placed on many medications. The track is hoping the our racefans and competitors will dig into their wallets and purses in effort to relieve the families expenses of the medical treatment. Lisa works in the tracks concession stand while Danny is a track official on Saturday nights. Haley is looking forward to presenting the S.A.S Tennessee Memorial winner Saturday night his trophy in KC Graphics / Race Engine Design Victory Lane on the front-stretch after the 50 lapper is concluded. Please help our racing family members in this difficult time by donating what you can. We will have buckets set up in all concession stands, and the souvenir booth. Thank you!
