Corn Belt Clash Series Announces Schedule Change

Officials with the Corn Belt Clash Late Model Series today announced that due to the cancellation of the July 4th event at Langlade County Speedway, that the series will be rescheduling the July 3rd event at Chilton Speedway. “We have been working really hard trying to find a replacement date for Antigo but just couldn’t get it worked out in time. We hate to do it at this late hour but we have to do what is best for the series and its teams,” stated CBC president Cam Granger. “I have been working closely with Bob at Chilton and we are looking at several options to move the race to the fall in conjunction with another track to replace Antigo to bring the series to eastern Wisconsin. There are some very good cars up there along with great race fans and we can’t wait to have the Corn Belt Clash up there.”

The next events on the schedule for the Corn Belt Clash Series will be June 29th at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska, for a $3,000-to-win event. The next night, the series will make the short trip to Adams County Speedway in Corning, Iowa for the $5,000-to-win ‘Liberty 50’.

Chris Simpson is the current series points leader, he is a single marker ahead of his brother, and two-time series champ, Chad Simpson with Tim Isenberg, Jason Rauen and ‘Hollywood’ Jake Meir rounding out the top-five. Stay tuned to the Corn Belt Clash Series website and Facebook page for further information and schedule changes.
