NCRA Late Model Nationals at Mid-Nebraska Speedway This Saturday Night

PARK CITY, Kansas (July 10) - If you are a late model fan in and around the state of Nebraska then you will not want to miss the gladiators of the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products late model division as the eleventh annual “NCRA Late Model Nationals” takes place this coming Saturday night at Mid-Nebraska Speedway in Doniphan, Nebraska.

Kelly Boen, the winningest driver in the tours history, five time champion of this event and has won the past two events that have been held. However, he is not expected to compete this weekend so a new Nationals championship is assured, this year paying $2000 to the winner.

Thus far on the 2012 race season, three events have been held on the season with former two-time series champion Kyle Berck taking the season opener back in May. A couple of modified veterans, Chase Junghans and Tommy Weder, Jr. picked up their first career late model victories over the Independence holiday.

Gates for the eleventh annual NCRA Late Model Nationals will open at 5:00 PM with racing set for a 7:00 PM start time.

The 2012 race season marks the 41st year for the series and the 29th year of sanctioning late model racing in Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Missouri and Iowa.
