Wendell Wallace Climbs to Third at Monett; Harrisburg Double-Dip Next 

BATESVILLE, AR (September 6) - Wendell Wallace and his #6m team scored a podium finish in their only event over the Labor Day holiday weekend.  On Sunday, September 2, they traveled to the Monett Speedway in Monett, Missouri for the 42nd Annual '4-State Dirt Track Championship,' which was sanctioned by the MARS DIRTcar Series.  Wendell ran third in his heat race, which locked him into the $4,000 to win feature event.  In front of the record crowd in the 35-lapper, the Batesville, Arkansas native moved all the way up to the third spot to finish behind only race winner Jesse Stovall and runner-up Billy Moyer.  Complete results from Monett can be viewed online at www.marsracingseries.com.
 
Next up for the Wendell Wallace Autosports team will be the 2nd Annual ‘Rockabilly 45’ at the Northeast Arkansas Speedway in Harrisburg, Arkansas on September 7-8.  The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series will preside over the two-day show.  Friday’s program will be headlined by a $1,500 to win feature, while Saturday’s event will boast a $3,000 top prize.  Additional information on the ‘Rockabilly 45’ weekend can be obtained by clicking on www.compdirt.com.
