Davenport nets second straight Southern All Stars win at Smoky Mountain

MARYVILLE, TN (March 23) - Jonathan Davenport of Blairsville, GA has become the only repeat winner in four races during the Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series-sanctioned 103.5 WIMZ Rockin’ with the Stars event on Saturday Night March 23rd at Smoky Mountain Speedway.
 
This was Davenport’s second-straight SAS win as he picked up the $5,000 payday while driving the AES Racing, Mega Plumbing, EnCompass Solutions sponsored Clement’s Racing Engines powered Barry Wright Race Car. Ray Cook of Brasstown, NC finished second followed by Steve Casebolt of Richmond, IN and Dale McDowell of Chickamauga, GA. Billy Ogle Jr of Knoxville, TN rounded out the top five.
