Tonight's Events at Jackson Have Been Canceled

JACKSON, MS (April 5, 2013) - Tonight's Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series-sanctioned event at Jackson Motor Speedway in Jackson, MS has been canceled. Due to overnight rain leading up to the event, Jackson Motor Speedway Speedway and LOLMDS officials were left with no option, except to cancel tonight's events.
 
"Due to the heavy saturation JMS received this week and last night, the grounds were just to soggy for us to hold an event this evening," stated Don Cliburn, Jackson Motor Speedway promoter, "We would have had to pull trucks not only in and out of the pit area and would be impossible to pull vehicles out of the General Admission parking because of the conditions of the grounds."
 
Tomorrow, April 6th, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series heads to Lonestar Speedway in Kilgore, TX for a $10,000 to win event.
