The NDRL's ULMS Series Adds $7,500 to-win 'Smethport 50' at McKean County Raceway
 
East Smethport, PA (May 16, 2013) National Dirt Racing League (NDRL) officials have added an additional date to the NDRL's United Late Model Series (ULMS) schedule for Friday, May 31 at the NDRL's McKean County Speedway. The event tabbed as the 'Smethport 50' will be held in conjunction with an 'Incredible Weekly Show' that includes RUSH weekly Crate Late Models, EMods, Close Racing Supply Street Stocks and Mini-Stocks.
 
The 'Smethport 50' will feature a huge purse over $32,000 with $7,500 going to the winner of the 50 lap main event at the 1/3 clay oval in Smethport, PA. 'Adding an event with this type of payout is something that we wanted to do for the ULMS series and the local and regional drivers,' NDRL President Jason Shank stated. 'With McKean County Raceway gaining momentum under the NDRL banner, we felt that MCR would be a great facility to use as a test for this type of payout.'
 
Before the NDRL's ULMS Late Models hit McKean County Raceway on May 31, point leader Dave Hess Jr. will lead the NDRL's ULMS top ten of Russ King, Mike Knight, Greg Oakes, Boom Briggs, Ron Davies, Brent Rhebergen, Keith Barbara, Jim Rasey, and Doug Eck on a three race swing that starts at MCR on Thursday, May 23 for the $3,000 to-win 'Dave Lundgren Memorial' then moves to Woodhull (NY) Speedway on Friday, May 24 for the 22nd Annual 'Late Model Reunion' before finishing up at Stateline Speedway in Busti, NY on Saturday, May 25.
 
A complete program will be in store for the NDRL's ULMS Late Models including time trials, heat races, B-main's and the $7,500 to-win 'Smethport 50'.
