IMCA Late Model competitor and Stage 3 Colon Cancer survivor Darren Ackerman of Readlyn, IA joined Dirt Cast to talk about his racing career, racing a IMCA Late Model, his battle with Stage 3 Colon cancer, the support from the racing community, how he stayed positive through the whole ordeal, getting back in a race car, winning in only his seventh race back, the emotional victory lane, the competition at Independence Motor Speedway and his plans for the rest of the season.
