Jason Utter goes Two for Tuesday at CBC Marshalltown Classic



MARSHALLTOWN, IA (August 13) - Riding his big non-sanctioned win last Tuesday at West Liberty Raceway, Jason Utter chased down Chad Simpson on the 37th lap to win the CBC at Marshalltown Speedway. Not since the late 1980’s had Super Late Models ran on the High Banked Quarter at the Central Iowa Fairgrounds and the return did not disappoint the crowd.
 
The action was on the low groove early in the race but as the laps wore down, the track took rubber and was racy from top to bottom with late race passing throughout the pack. Chad Simpson held on for second with Dave Eckrich climbing the banking for 3rd after starting in the 8th position. Chris Simpson settled in for 4th place with Hard Charger, Justin Mitchell grabbing 5th while coming from the 10th position.
