Rick Scheffler grabbed the lead on lap 5 and never looked back winning the season finale at the Manitowoc Oval. Russ Scheffler was declared the track Champion by 2 points over Tim Buhler. Russ was out of town but a track rule allows some one else to drive the car and still collect points. So Russ's nephew Mitch McGrath piloted his car to a 2nd place finish to secure the championship.
