Ralph Latham Memorial Race at Florence Speedway Rained Out Friday Night

UNION, KY (September 20, 2013) - The Ralph Latham Memorial Race scheduled for Friday Night at Florence (KY) Speedway has been canceled due to persistent rain showers this afternoon.  There will be no make-up date for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series-sanctioned event.
 
The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will be in action on Saturday Night, September 21st at Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, IN for the 34th Annual Jackson 100, paying $15,000 to win. Gates will open at 12 Noon. 
 
There will be a complete show for the LOLMDS at Brownstown with RED BUCK Time Trials, Heat Races, B-Mains, and the Jackson 100 feature event.  The event at Brownstown is the track's annual signature event and has been contested every year since 1980.  Current LOLMDS points' leader, Jimmy Owens of Newport, TN is the defending Jackson 100 champion.
