2014 CHEVY SUPER SERIES ROOKIE OF THE YEAR WILL BE CRUISIN’CARTERSVILLE, GA – Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series officials have announced there will be a Rookie of the Year Program for 2014 for eligible drivers. To be eligible, drivers cannot have raced Super Late Models for more than five years, or have won a dirt late model race paying $5,000-to-win or more.
The 2014 Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series Rookie of the Year will win a cruise courtesy of Cruise With The Champions. Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series officials are still working to secure other awards for the 2014 Top Rookie driver in the point standings at season’s end, and will make more announcements in the coming weeks.
Eligible drivers wishing to sign up to run for the 2014 Rookie of the Year Award may do so during Registration at the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series 2014 season opener this Saturday at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL. Pre-Race Registration and Technical Inspection for the 50-lap $3,000-to-win race will be from 4 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
