Dennis Erb, Jr. Competes in Indiana Icebreaker; LaSalle Doubleheader Ahead CARPENTERSVILLE, IL (March 26) - The Dennis Erb Racing team returned to Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series competition on Saturday evening, March 22 at the legendary Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana. The 17th edition of the 'Indiana Icebreaker' was held at the famed 1/4-mile fairgrounds oval and 45 competitors piled into the pit area to vie for the $10,000 top prize. Dennis Erb, Jr. started off his night by timing in nineteenth fastest in Group B during qualifying and he later finished tenth in his stacked heat race.
After running sixth in his B-Main, Dennis was forced to take use of a LOLMDS provisional to gain access into the 50-lap feature event. In front of a jammed packed grandstand, Dennis started the 'Indiana Icebreaker' from the outside of the twelfth row. The Carpentersville, Illinois standout was then able to climb three positions during the caution-free affair and eventually netted a twenty-first place effort in the single-day showdown. Dennis now sits eleventh in the current version of the LOLMDS point standings following Brownstown. Full results can be obtained by clicking on

A $2,000 top prize has been established for Friday's 35-lap feature event, while Saturday's 75-lapper boasts a hefty $15,000 winner's check.
