411 Motor Speedway Ole Smoky Moonshine Nationals Fri./Sat. For NeSmith Chevrolet DLMS

CARTERSVILLE, GA – The NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Touring Division will try again this weekend to get Rounds 4 and 5 in the books with the Ole Smoky Moonshine Nationals at 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, TN. The first of the two races will be 40-laps $2,000-to-win on Friday night, and the second race will be 50-laps $3,000-to-win on Saturday night.

The Ole Smoky Moonshine Nationals for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Touring Division was originally scheduled to be run last weekend, but heavy rains forced the event to be postponed until this Friday night and Saturday night.

A stellar list of drivers from ten states are expected to compete in the Ole Smoky Moonshine Nationals including the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series National Champion and two-time 411 Motor Speedway winner last season Ronnie Johnson of Chattanooga, TN along with top point drivers Walker Arthur of Forest, VA, and Mack McCarter of Gatlinburg, TN..

Other top NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series entrants expected for the Ole Smoky Moonshine Nationals include, Josh Adkins of Talladega, AL, Chris Noah of Rainbow City, AL, Chase Edge of LaFayette, AL, Tait Davenport of Benton, KY, two-time series Champion David Earl Gentry of Murfreesboro, TN, and Michael Blount of Sumrall, MS.

A strong field of local favorites will be led by Cory Hedgecock of Loudon, TN, who will be looking for his third straight Late Model win this season at 411 Motor Speedway. Hedgecock will be joined by 411 Motor Speedway front runners Ryan King of Seymour, TN, John Cobb of Loudon, TN, Adam Beeler of Knoxville, TN, Chris Wilson of Crossville, TN, and Matt Henderson of Loudon, TN for the Ole Smoky Moonshine Nationals.

The on track action at 411 Motor Speedway for the Ole Smoky Moonshine Nationals begins on Thursday night with an open practice. The pit gate opens at 12 noon on Thursday night, with the open practice session running from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.

On both Friday and Saturday, the pit gate opens at 12 noon with NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Pre-Race Registration and Technical Inspection from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The Drivers Meeting is set for 6 p.m. each night, with hot laps beginning immediately after the Drivers Meeting.
