JASON WELSHAN SCORES MEN OF STEEL VICTORY @ VOLUNTEER SPEEDWAY

Bulls Gap, TN (4/05/14) --- Jason Welshan of Maryville, Tennessee and the Flyin' Welshan Brigade got their first win of the 2014 season Saturday night, picking off the $1,500 payday at the Volunteer Speedway Season Opener in Bulls Gap for the Steel-head Late Model division. Welshan piloting his black n' blue #29 " Ronald Sexton Construction, Hicks & Law Insurers, Competition Racing Equipment, Jon's Golf Cart, Jackie Stinett O'Reilly's Auto Parts, Schoenfeld Headers, Stealth Carburators, AFCO Shocks by Shorty, B&M Concrete, Harrison Construction, Williams Starters of Tazewell, Bakers Transmission, American Racer Tires/Jeff Treece, Larry Sullivan Sandblasting, Matlock Decal Co. and DGR" Spooky IV MastersBilt / B&B Race Engines powered racecar got the lead late in the race after battling with eventual second place finisher Jason Manley. The win was especially sweet for "Dirty Girl Racing" Leanne Oglesby whom celebrated her birthday in Rusty Wallace Auto Group Victory Lane. The Hidden Hollow Motorsports team has a big three day weekend of racing coming up with plans of being at the Tri-County Race Track Thursday night in Brasstown, North Carolina, before returning to Bulls Gap, TN on Friday for another Steel-head race. The weekend will likely wrap-up Saturday at North GA Speedway in Chatsworth, GA for their racing program. Fans can follow along with Welshan on his facebook page Jason Welshan Racing Updates.
