Dennis Erb, Jr. Eyes NDRL Tripleheader Following Solid Run at Ark-La-Tex CARPENTERSVILLE, IL (April 9) - The Dennis Erb Racing team rejoined the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series on Saturday evening, April 5 at Ark-La-Tex Speedway in Vivian, Louisiana. The national touring series held their first-ever event at Ark-La-Tex and 51 competitors were on the grounds to compete for the $10,000 winner's check. Dennis Erb, Jr. laid down the fifteenth fastest lap in Group A during time trials and later climbed up to fourth in his stacked heat race. After grabbing the second and final transfer spot through his B-Main, Dennis started the 50-lap main event from the inside of the eleventh row. The Carpentersville, Illinois star then rallied through the field, as he picked off ten competitors during the A-Main en route to a steady eleventh place performance.
Unfortunately, the rest of the weekend was a wash for the cars and stars of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. Both $10,000 to win showdowns - scheduled for Friday at Jackson Motor Speedway in Jackson, Mississippi and for Sunday at Outlaw Motorsports Park in Muskogee, Oklahoma - succumbed to inclement weather. Dennis emerged from the April 4-6 weekend still eleventh in the latest version of the LOLMDS point standings. Full results from Saturday's tilt at Ark-La-Tex Speedway can be accessed online at

Dennis and his #28 team will now make the long trek to the states of Pennsylvania and Virginia for a huge tripleheader with the National Dirt Racing League (NDRL). Things will kick-off on Thursday, April 10 at Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway in Imperial, Pennsylvania, as the annual 'PENNational' will pay $10,000 to the winner. The Mid-Atlantic swing will then take Dennis to Winchester Speedway in Winchester, Virginia on Friday, April 11 for another $10,000 to win NDRL battle. The triple shot of racing action is then set to conclude on Saturday, April 12 with the 'Aaron's King of the Commonwealth,' which boasts a hefty $20,000 payday at the pristine Virginia Motor Speedway in Jamaica, Virginia.
