Henry followed the MSCCS to St. Tammany Speedway (Lacombe, Louisiana) on Saturday night for a $2,500-to-win program. With twenty Super Late Models entered Cooper locked into the pole sitter's dash after qualifying fastest in his group. He picked up the win in the dash to lock into the pole position for the finale. In the main event Cooper raced his way to a second place finish behind race winner, David Breazeale. Chad Thrash, Neil Baggett, and Rick Rickman rounded out the top five finishers.
"Our team made some changes in the off-season, and we've all been working really hard, so it's really good to already see some positive results," commented Cooper. "I feel like we could have a really good season."
