Brandon Kinzer Solid in Trip to Talladega Short Track; Visits Boyd's Tomorrow

ALLEN, KY (May 8) - The Kinzer Motorsports team rolled south to Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama on May 2-3 for a big doubleheader, which accompanied the NASCAR weekend across the road at the gigantic Talladega Superspeedway.  On Friday night, things kicked off at the track deemed as the "Hornets Nest" with a $2,000 to win program.  During the unsanctioned show, Brandon Kinzer posted the quickest lap in Group A during the qualifying session, which placed him on the pole for the A-Main.  BK then put forth a strong showing throughout the feature and eventually claimed an impressive runner-up effort behind only victor Jason Hiett.

On Saturday evening at TST, the Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series (SAS) strolled into town to preside over a $4,000 to win showdown.  Brandon clicked off the fourth fastest lap in Group A during time trials and later started the 40-lapper from the inside of the fourth row.  When the dust had settled in the main event, the Allen, Kentucky ace found himself right where he started... in the seventh position.  Complete results from the double-dip at Talladega Short Track can be viewed online at www.talladegashorttrack.com.

Brandon and his #18 team will return to dirt-slinging action again this Friday, May 9 at Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia.  The Old Man's Garage Spring Nationals tour will invade the Chattanooga area facility tomorrow night and a $4,000 top prize will be on the line.  A full show of qualifying and consolation races will precede a 40-lap main event.  Additional information on this show can be accessed by clicking on www.southernnationalsseries.com.

Brandon and the Kinzer Motorsports team would like to thank the following marketing partners for their continued loyalty and support: Kinzer Drilling Company, Will Kinzer Foundation for Autism Research, Quality Natural Gas, Bluegrass Arms, MB Customs Race Cars, MarsRaceCars.com, Gaerte Engines, CMD Race Shocks, Joe Provo Racewear, RideHonda.com, Allstar Performance, Art's Radiator and Welding, Beyea Headers, Delph Communications, Design 500, Dyer's Top Rods, Goodridge Hose & Fittings, Hypercoils, Mike's Custom Tanks (MCT), Perry County Tire, Pro Armor, Quarter Master, Real Racing Wheels, Scott Performance Wire, Tiger Rear Ends, Ultra Shield Race Products, VP Racing Fuels, Wells Racing Photography, Wiles Driveshafts, Wilwood Engineering, and Wrisco Industries.
