Austin Hubbard Is the Big Kahuna at Roaring Knob

SEAFORD, Delaware (September 30) - Austin Hubbard was back in victory lane over the weekend in his #11 Trinity Logistics/Mastersbilt by Huey/Cornett Racing Engine Super Late Model with a $5,000 triumph in the finale for the annual Big Kahuna at Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex.

A $2,500-to-win program was contested on Friday night, as thirty-two entries filled the pit area. Austin finished fourth in his heat race to lock into the feature event, and raced his way to a solid sixth place finish behind race winner, Keith Barbara, Davey Johnson, Kyle Hardy, Kenny Pettyjohn and Tim Senic.

On Saturday evening the winner's check increased to $5,000 for the event, which was sanctioned by the Three State Flyers Series. Thirty-three Super Late Models registered for battle, and a second place finish in his heat race earned Hubbard a starting spot in the finale. In the main event, Austin drove his entry to the front of the pack en route to his fourth triumph of the 2014 season over Kenny Pettyjohn, Keith Barbara, Jason Covert and Tim Senic.

"For the first time in a few years our team is really having a great time again," said Hubbard. "Obviously winning makes it that much more enjoyable, but it's great to again be competitive every time that we unload."
