Billy Moyer Makes Annual Trek to USA Raceway for 9th Annual Wild West Shootout
 
BATESVILLE, ARK (January 9) - For the sixth straight year, Billy Moyer and his famed #21 team will open up their racing season in the Copper State, as they have trekked west to USA Raceway in Tucson, Arizona for the 9th edition of the 'Wild West Shootout.' The six-race miniseries, which will be held from January 10-18, will actually start with an open practice session later today. A total of four shows will pay $3,000 to the winner in Tucson, while the other two events will pay $5,000 and $10,000 to win respectively. For the first time, the 'Wild West Shootout' will carry a point fund with more than $5,000 distributed among the top five drivers, with $2,000 earmarked for the champion.
 
Billy is always a threat to win each time he passes through the pit gate at USA Raceway and has recorded eleven feature wins in the last five seasons. In 2014, the Batesville, Arkansas Hall of Famer laid claim to a $3,000 triumph and posted two additional podium performances in the miniseries, which was sanctioned by the now defunct National Dirt Racing League.
