R.J. Conley Continues Win Streak for CMI at Atomic Speedway

WHEELERSBURG, OHIO (April 23) - For the third straight Saturday night, a Conley Motorsports, Inc. (CMI) driver found victory lane at Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio on April 18, but this time it was R.J. Conley! The Wheelersburg, Ohio native set Fast Time during qualifying and later finished second in his heat race. After grabbing the point on lap four of the weekly Super Late Model feature event, R.J. led the remainder of the 25-lap distance to score the $2,000 payday over Jason Montgomery, J.T. Conley, Delmas Conley, and Chris Shannon!

Upstart J.T. Conley ran third in his heat race, but later climbed all the way up to second in the A-Main before settling for a hard-fought third place performance. Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer Delmas Conley, who had won the previous two weeks at Atomic, came home in the fourth spot in the headliner after finishing second in heat race action. Weather pending this weekend, R.J. will travel to the venerable Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky on Saturday, April 25 for the 39th edition of the 'Spring 50.' The unsanctioned Super Late Model special will pay $5,000 to the winner. Delmas and Rod are slated to take their racing talents to Southern Ohio Speedway in Wheelersburg, Ohio on Friday night and Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio on Saturday evening for a pair of $2,000 to win weekly shows. J.T. plans to only attend the Atomic Speedway event on Saturday.
