Ivedent Lloyd Jr. Wins Rescheduled 2nd Annual Spring Shootout

BARBERVILLE, Florida (May 30) – Ivedent Lloyd Jr. had to wait a month to complete the 2nd Annual Spring Shootout with the United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series (UDLMCS) at Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida). Despite the long wait, induced by Mother Nature on April 25th, Lloyd Jr. would enjoy the outcome with a victory aboard David Clegg's #07 Late Model.  

Lloyd Jr. overtook Bronson for the top spot in the 54 lap affair. He went on to score the victory over Bronson, Mark Whitener, Keith Nosbisch, and Ryan Van Sickle.

Just before the twenty-six car, feature grid took to the speedway rains soaked the 1/2 mile oval forcing the program to be postponed until May 30th. The $3,000 feature event will be contested on this date, and then a $1,000-to-win, unsanctioned event will be held.

Kyle Bronson paced the field in qualifications with the fastest lap around the gumbo oval. Heat races were won by John Kellum, Stanton Mills, Kyle Bronson, and Ryan Van Sickle. John Kellum drew the pole position in the redraw.
