COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Adds Dates to 2015 Docket

by Ben Shelton
BEEBE, Arkansas (July 8) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil has added additional dates to their 2015 schedule. The changes and additions have been made to allow the series to recoup some of the events that have been lost to Mother Nature this season.

The first addition comes on Friday, July 24th at Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) with a $2,000-to-win/$300-to-start affair. The event goes in place of the program that was originally slated for North Mississippi Motor Park (Corinth, Mississippi). On Saturday, July 25th the tour will still head to Camden Speedway (Camden, Tennessee) for a $2,000-to-win/$400-to-start event.

On Friday, July 31st the tour returns to Crowley’s Ridge Raceway (Paragould, Arkansas) for a $2,000-to-win/$300-to-start program. The event will precede the previously scheduled $2,000-to-win/$400-to-start race that will be held at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) on Saturday, August 1st.

On September 11th-12th a pair of big events have been added in the state of Oklahoma. Friday, September 11th takes the tour to Outlaw Motor Speedway (Muskogee, Oklahoma) for a $2,500-to-win/$400-to-start event, while Saturday, September 12th will see the tour co-sanctioning a $3,000-to-win/$400-to-start program with the MARS DIRTCar Series at Tri-State Speedway (Pocola, Oklahoma).

“Each year we try to have twenty races for our competitors, but Mother Nature has been rough on us this year,” said CCSDS CEO, Chris Ellis. “That’s why we’ve shuffled a few dates and added a few more. Hopefully we can finally catch a break, and all of these events will get to be run.”
