Eckrich Scores Much Needed Win At Farley Speedway

FARLEY, Iowa (July 24) - Friday nights racing action at the Farley Speedway provided the fans with another exciting night of wheel to wheel racing action. The Klein Custom Homes IMCA Late Model feature saw Cosgrove, Iowa driver Andy Eckrich battle from the back of the pack following a first lap skirmish to chase down race leader Joel Callahan and set up a last lap charge to the finish. Eckrich caught Callahan in lapped traffic and made a dive to the low side in turn four coming to the checkers; Eckrich crossed the finish line less than a car length ahead of Callahan. John Merfeld finished third ahead of his brother Luke on Friday night.
