MARYVILLE, TN (September 16) - Smoky Mountain Speedway caps off the 2015 season with a big money event and hall of fame induction ceremonies on Saturday, September 19 at the historic 4/10-mile track.

The Southern All-Stars returns for the King of the Mountain Fall Classic presented by East Tennessee Auto Outlet. Top super late model drivers from the area will be competing for $5,000 to win. Drivers such as Randy Weaver, Skip Arp, Donald McIntosh, Billy Ogle Jr., Chris Madden, Todd Morrow, and a host of other drivers will be looking for the winner's check and trophy.

Another big money event also on the program is the rescheduled $2,000 to win street stock race. The race was originally scheduled for August 29, but was moved to September 19 due to scheduling conflicts with other area events. Top street stock drivers from across the area will be on hand looking for the big payday.

Also racing will be the sportsman division for $750 to win (12 car minimum).

During the intermission, the Smoky Mountain Speedway Hall of Fame will induct the 2015 class. Lamar Winkle, Marion Tipton, Snooks Defoor, Randy Bethea, Connie Boring, and Larry Jones will be inducted. The ceremony is scheduled to take place around 8:30.

Prior to racing action, former hall of fame inductees H.E. Vineyard, Leon Vineyard, Bill Corum, Melvin Corum, Skip Arp, and original Atomic Speedway owner Bob Martin will be available to meet and greet fans from 5:30-7:00.

Pit gates open at 3:00 and grandstand gates and tier parking open at 4:00. The driver's meeting is scheduled for 6:30 and hot laps will begin at 6:45.

Grandstand tickets are just $15 for adults. Children 6-11 are $5 and children 5 and under are free. Tier parking admission is $20 for adults, children 6-11 are $10, and children 5 and under are free. Pit passes are $35 for adults, children 11 and under are $15.

Smoky Mountain Speedway is located just 10 minutes south of Maryville at 809 Brick Mill Road. Take Highway 411 South from Maryville toward Greenback. Take a left onto Brick Mill Road, the track is approximately 2 miles on the right. The first entrance is the grandstand entrance, the second entrance is the tier parking entrance, and the third entrance is the pit entrance.
