Dennis Erb, Jr. Eyes Knoxville Raceway on Heels of Jackson 100

CARPENTERSVILLE, ILL (September 24) - Dennis Erb Racing rejoined the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series schedule at the legendary Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana on September 18-19 to vie for the $20,000 winner's check in the 36th edition of the 'Jackson 100.' Dennis Erb, Jr. started the two-day showdown by posting the twelfth fastest lap in Group A during the qualifying session on Friday night. At the 1/4-mile facility on Saturday evening, Dennis ran fifth in his stacked heat race prior to claiming the victory in his B-Main.

After rolling off from the inside of the ninth row in the 100-lap headliner, Dennis was able to move up a few spots during the course of the 'Jackson 100' and ultimately wound up fourteenth in the final finishing order. The Carpentersville, Illinois native still sits seventh in the latest version of the LOLMDS point standings exiting Brownstown. Full results from the weekend can be accessed online at www.lucasdirt.com.

Next up for the #28 team will be a trip to the hallowed Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa on September 24-26 for the 12th Annual 'Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals.' The three-day crown jewel spectacular at the 1/2-mile Marion County Fairgrounds speedplant will start with a pair of $7,000 to win preliminary events on Thursday and Friday. Drivers will earn points in each of the two preliminary nights that will determine the lineups for Saturday evening's grand finale. On tap on Saturday at Knoxville will be the D-Main, C-Main, B-Main, and the 100-lap headliner, which once again boasts a whopping $40,000 payday.

The award-winning Lucas Oil Productions Studios will be on hand to tape all of the dirt-slinging action from Knoxville Raceway with multiple camera angles, driver interviews, on-board cameras, and various technical segments. The mega-event will air on MAVTV Motorsports Network and NBC Sports Network at a later date in 2015.
