Dega 100 Up Next For The Chevy Super Series At Talladega Short TrackCARTERSVILLE, GA – After being postponed by rain last month, the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series will present the $6,000-to-win 3rd Annual Dega 100 this Friday and Saturday nights at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL. The 2015 Chevy Super Series National Championship and Cruise With The Champions Rookie of the Year Award will be decided.
The on track action begins this Friday night with an Open Practice Session. The gates open at 5 p.m. with practice from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The racing activities will take place on Saturday night with a full racing program that includes Talladega Short Track weekly divisions.
Joining the Chevy Super Series Late Models on Saturday night will be the opening night of the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division Winter Heat Series with a $1,500-to-win race; the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Late Models will race for $800-to-win, plus the Sportsman, Thunder Car and Hot Shot Divisions.
On Saturday, the pit gate opens at 4 p.m. with Chevy Super Series Pre-Race Registration and Technical Inspection from 4:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. The Drivers Meeting is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. with Hot Laps to follow.
